Members of the club gave out cheques during their annual event at a
Presentation evening held at the Oak Tree Arena, Highbridge. February 2nd 2011.

Burnham Infants school received 100
Brass 4 Youth received 100
Burnham Transplant Athlete Romana Winston received 500
And our local RNLI received 1,000

A large majority of the money raised through charity events and collections stays local to enhance local carers groups, local community and local people.

These projects have included not only sponsoring and financing but also to the extent that Lions actually got their hands dirty by painting the interior of the Bay Club and have offered to paint the interior of the Community Centre.

Other projects range from organising a sing song to hosting the Carnival Queen competition.

Anyone interested in helping to enhance the local community in this way would be welcome as a Lion.
